How do you interact with it? What else are you doing at the time? How does it impact your experience at the time? Where do you interact with it? Are you alone, with others, connecting with others? How do you feel at the time? What does it enable you to do? How, if it ail, does it constrain you? Etc.
    • Pay particular attention to technology interactions involving sound and voice (e.g. music. video. ear phones, speakers, phones, Siri, Alexa, etc.)
    • Take notes regularly throughout the day. Do not record everything retrospectively at the end of the day. When possible, it would also be helpful to take some pictures of these moments and include them in your account.

    • Take detailed notes on what vou observe. What people are doing? How do they interact with technology? How do they interact with Others? How do they interact with the space? Who are they? Etc. Record the time. date, and details about the location as well.
    • You will analyze this data, along with the other qualitative data you collect, for the Sonos team qualitative research project.
