There were a number of diversity issues identified in this movie. Focus on Coach Boone's efforts to bring the team together as one unit; early in the movie, he 'assigns seats' on the bus, as an example. Consider the various challenges Coach faced in building a team in the face of generations of racial segregation in Virginia.
