year ever.” Most business organisations around the world have not been spared,
and major retailers have tackled the situation differently.
For instance, according to the opinion column of Bloomberg.com in June 2020,
Inditex SA, the Spanish fast-fashion behemoth, reported its first loss since it
went public in 2001 after shutting stores during Covid-19 lockdowns worldwide. It
will close between 1,000 and 1,200 stores, many belonging to Inditex brands
