Parent assessments is the best way to handle who gets custody of a child or children. You never know who might be on drugs or can’t work a job due to mental health issues. A child deserves the best. You have to remember that they didn’t ask to be here. You have to be able to raise them and teach them right from wrong. I would look at the amount of income a person makes in the assessment tests. You will know the child will not want for anything. https://www.apa.org/practice/guidelines/child-custody

RE: Week 7 Discussion

Child custody cases are hard, but in some cases needed. I have been through the courtroom with regard to my child. Horrible having to sit with a mediator and go over agreements with somebody who is resistant to your every idea. With understanding the future best interest of the child are the absolute it’s a hard gulp to take for the parent that has to adapt to the child not being with them anymore. The five factors that come into ultimate play into who will be in respectable custody of the child. Writing this I hate thinking about my whole situation with child custody and thank God that I was the deciding factor. From experience, I would side on the child’s psychology side for them understanding the child’s frame of mind and insight into how the child or who the child would best for the child’s future interests. Benefits being a solution to the child’s chaos situation, and the faults being the adjustment periods for not only the child but the Mother, Father, and sibling’s that are in the child’s future
