For this week’s assignment, you will need to identify a biomimicry topic (existing or future technology) that enables a building to be more sustainable. A quick search online or even though YouTube can neet you an almost limitless list of interesting biomimicry technologies.
Please choose something that is interesting to you since this paper will feed into the larger final research paper at the end of the course.
Once you have identified the topic, you will need to write two pages (not including the cover and reference page(s)) that:
Identifies the biomimicry technology.
Provides a detailed discussion about how it works and its biomimetic properties.
How it will improve the sustainability of a building (commercial or residential). This part should be dynamic discussion given what you have learned so far in the course. In other words, you know a great deal about sustainability and green buildings, so how will this technology be an
improvement over current practices and current green building standards. Use 12pt Times New Roman single space format for the paper with one space between paragraphs.

Grading Criteria

Section 1
Describes a product, material, technology, etc. that addresses one of the benefits of the reading.
Section 2
Discusses why the items are green. Assess the recyclability and embodied the energy of the product.
Section 3
Discusses the current item and why it would/should be replaced. Provides research supporting the need for the item discussed in the introduction (section 1).
Section 4
Provides a summary of how the recommended item aligns with the ideas and goals of the required reading.
