Process for Part I
Your task for this first part is to write a 7-page paper (typed, double-spaced, with MLA citation and a separate Works Cited page) in which you endeavor to clearly define the issue you’ve chosen to write about. Consider the following prompts to help you complete this portion of the larger researched paper. The paper should: Introduce your topic.
- Provide necessary Background information to disclose the issue. Provide a history of the organization and any related problems.
- provide your working research question. In other words, state what your paper endeavors to discover. State, as clearly as you can at this point, a working thesis regarding that topic.
- provide a research agenda. How will your paper investigate, and present solutions related to the problems you identify?
- Provide a Problem Statement.
