Discuss prenatal development infancy and toddlerhood
Welcome to week 2, which begins Monday Nov 18th! In this unit we cover the prenatal development, infancy and toddlerhood. As you are now aware, our discussions in yellow dig can be on any of these topics. To help provide a bit of structure, I’ve provided some discussion starters/ideas for your main post.

1) Describe fetal development in one of the stages of gestation (first trimester, second trimester, etc). What changes are occuring during the stage?
2) Discuss Piaget’s theory and stage of sensorimotor development. How does an infant come to learn in their environment?
3) If you were a psychologist or parenting counselor, what advice would you give to new parents about the importance of attachment and how to develop a healthy bond?
