Directions:
Because of the nature of this course, all students will have varying needs as far as financial literacy. Please complete the following steps by utilizing the “Financial Literacy Resources” folder. Type your responses, save the document as a PDF, and submit to Blackboard. This assignment should be at least 2 pages in length and follow paper guidelines provided in the syllabus.
Step 1:
To allow for personal exploration about financial literacy please choose at least two articles from the “Tools and Resources” tab on the Smart About Money website. Provide a summary about what you have learned and how the information will help you in the future. Please site your articles using proper APA format. Suggested topics to explore: Health Insurance, Saving, Credit (Credit Scores), Budget, Job and Career.
Step 2:
Utilizing the Expense Tracker link provided, record and analyze your current spending habits. What are some things that you could be doing differently to assure financial stability in the future? What are some things that will change once you enter your future career? (ie: specific new expenses, change in income, lifestyle) *You do not need to provide your expense sheet.
