Using sources from this weeks module, describe some of this variation in marriage and family formation (the how, who, when, and how many, etc.) Anthropologists marriage to be a near cultural universal In t at almost every known society practices some form of marriage for the purpose of creating, maintaining and linking kin groups. However there is great cultural variation in the norms of marriage across the globe. Use cultural relativism to discuss how these practices serve to solidify and maintain social order.
