small architecture BIG LANDSCAPES features many artists representing different institutions, who have been exploring many variations on a common theme through artistic means, brought together in a single exhibition.
The exhibition is multi-media and brings together some inventive and original approaches to the various disciplines of Architecture,
Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, and Installation Art, each of which we have been examining in class.
While the exhibition features the work of over forty artists, it is organized around nine installations.
Directions:
Visit the Exhibition small architecture Big LANDSCAPES at the University Art Gallery on the corner of Franklin and Preston streets,
across from the CMU. After viewing the exhibition choose one of the nine main installations to write about. The exhibition artists are 1. Scott Shall,
Remember these collaborative installations often feature more than one medium, for example a sculpture surrounded by digital images. Don’t
forget to take a photo or digital image of the installation that you can attach to the back of your paper!
