In this section you should build on your introduction and explore in depth your chosen theoretical approach(s) for analysing the case study. This should include an outline of the core premise(s) and model(s) you are utilising, a discussion of their critiques, and a full justification for your use of them. You can also discuss why you have opted to not use other approaches, and if appropriate demonstrate how you are using a hybrid approach to your strategic analysis.

Environment Analysis

In this section you should utilise one of the theoretical tools you have outlined in the previous section and analyse the environment in which your organisation operates. Emphasis should be placed on defining what environment you are analysing and discussing the limitations of the analysis. You should also discuss if the organisation you are analysing has had a role in shaping the environment in which they operate.

Evaluation of the organisations’ competitive advantage

In this section, building on your theoretical discussion and environment analysis, you should analyse what you believe your organisation’s competitive advantage is. This should utilise the theoretical approach and tools discussed in the theoretical exploration section. You may also want to consider if your organisation is able to obtain a sustained competitive advantage following your theoretical analysis.competitive advantage
