The purpose of our project is to prove that a home on a floating surface can be sustained with the use of green energy. Our project is going to be using three energy sources; solar, wind, and turbines. We are going to integrate safety methods that are going to help solve the hazards that are faced by people who live on small islands that are surrounded by oceans. One of the important things that we’re including in the project is the water filtration system that will give us an opportunity to narrow down the issue of fresh water shortage.

The energy can be used for the water filtration seeing that we’re going for a green project. The home structure is going to be sustained by the materials that are going to be used to build the structure. The solar panels can be fixed into the rooftop of the structure and the flat base around it. My research topic is about what are the materials used to build a floating house? I need a principle to back-up my research question. So far, I have found only one Archimedes principle. if you can’t find any other principle, you can use the Archimedes principle but it would be preferable if you can find anything else.
